1ST AUGUST, 2025 - CRUISE RETIREMENT HAVE PARTNERED WITH TRANSCEND CRUISES FOR FLEET MANAGEMENT

We are pleased to inform everyone that Cruise Retirement has formed an alliance with Transcend Cruises, headed by our CEO and friend, Mr Hans Rood. Hans and Matthew Shollar (Founder of Transcend) truly understand and believe in the vision of Cruise Retirement and have been awarded the management contract for the entire operational service component of Cruise Retirement.

Both Hans and Matthew have extensive experience in bringing to you some of the finest vessel-side hospitality management in the world over the past 30+ years in the maritime industry, both in river and off-shore, deep-ocean cruising and we are very pleased to partner with them for all operational aspects of Cruise Retirement's business.

1ST MAY, 2025 - DECISION TO RE-LAUNCH CRUISE RETIREMENT FOLLOWING THE RECOVER OF THE CRUISE INDUSTRY POST-COVID-19

Many meetings, thinktanks have taken place over the past few years in relation to the debate of when to re-enter the market. As you will recall, COVID-19 almost completely sank the cruise industry, and we almost went with it. We were about to launch our venture right as COVID-19 struck and we almost put pen to paper in relation to a USD $75 million dollar purchase and refit programme with a shipyards in Norway. We were fortunate that we had not signed on this yet, which allowed us to ride out the COVID-19 pandemic relatively debt-free, rather than being saddled with extensive financing obligations.

Now borders have reopened, travel has resumed and the world is at relative peace by comparison, we have relaunched the Cruise Retirement initiative. When we say "relative peace", this is a little tongue in cheek given that we do have some news in relation to some changes we've made to the Cruise Retirement concept whilst we've been off the airwaves.

Firstly, we have decided to go through a total restructure of the concept, reviewing where we could make our product offering better, more liveable and safer for our clientele.

One thing COVID-19 did highlight was the rapidity in which pandemic conditions can arise, the immediacy of the need for medical care in an emergency situation and the shortages of medical staff and equipment where required. In light of this, we decided to modify the concept of Cruise Retirement to stay "closer to land", to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
